a few questions - Guild Wars Forums

so anyway guild wars will be here tommarow

and i still havent been able to find bits and pieces of info to help me out

can someone explain to me the pre-searing and the post-searing thing?i saw on target or something like a pre-searing box or whatever for like 5 bucks.. and i was lik hell nawz i have to buy 2?!!? can someon explain..?

and can someone explain the pvp system?? i know you can choose a pvp char or a non pvp char but is there some pvp places in the non pvp thing?and if i make a pvp char what do i do with it?how do i start? and is it like MU online or runescape where people just camp somewhere and gang someone when they see them? and what happens when u get killed?

That's too much to cover in one post. Take a look around this site. There is a tonn of info covering everything you need to find out about, and then some.

First the box you saw at target or where ever was more then likely just the pre order box. If you buy that then you buy the game you will get a special item that can only be gotten from pre orders, if you don't buy it you don't get the item.

As for your other questions PVP is you verse another player... It is nothing like PVE. Think of PvP as an areana... and PvE is the world around the areana. Nothing much happens when you die. You get a -15% Death Penalty untill you go back to town.

I know my answers are a little short but your questions are really big
